check your dipstick. Recommended viscosity of the oil should be shown there or on the oil cap. Brands, synthetics, etc is up to you. Just dont mix two different viscositys and or brands. ALWAYS use a Honda oil filter.What is the best oil and filter to use on a 2006 Civic LX coupe manual.?

if ur under warranty then u need to go to the dealership to have the oil change done cuz that will null ur warranty to do it urself...they'll know what is best
i know synthetic oil is the best oil to use but im not sure on a filter. and no it wont null your warranty to do your oil change yourself.
