Oil Filter Location on Mazda V6?

Where do you find the oil filter on an Australian plated Mazda MPV wagon, with a V6 engine? I have found the sump plug, but not the oil filter.





If its one of them oil filters that is not like the traditional type, ie bolted onto the engine block, is it any more complicated to change the oil than other cars?Oil Filter Location on Mazda V6?

The filter is a standard oil filter located on the left side of the motor as you face the car. The exhaust pipe runs right past it. I drape a couple of paper towels over the pipe to keep the oil off it when you remove the filter.
