Can someone tell me what is wrong when the oil in the car is coming up through the air filter? Is this costly?

The oil pressure is a little lower than normal. Sounds the same, no loss of power noted. Significant amount of oil.Can someone tell me what is wrong when the oil in the car is coming up through the air filter? Is this costly?
Your PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve is stuck open. Replace it for less than $10.00 (US) at any auto parts store. Can someone tell me what is wrong when the oil in the car is coming up through the air filter? Is this costly?
Most likely it is too full of oil (filled past the mark on the dip stick) pretty common problem. Park the car on a flat level surface. Let it set of bout 10 minutes. Pop the hood and remove the dipstick. Wipe it clean and re-insert it all the way. Pull it out again and look at the marks on the stick. ANYWHERE between low and full is fine. Also, make sure you are checking the motor oil and not the transmission oil.
The pcv valve sends unburnt emissions back into the intake system to be burned. try a new pcv valve.
check the pcv valve. the motor has to get air somewhere and if the pcv valve stops up then it will go where ever it can.
You probably have a clogged PCV valve.
