Does any one no the oil filter on my car is really tight and it dosent want to come off what else can i do?

drive a screwdriver through it with a hammer and twist it loose and if that doesn't work you can get some large channel locks that fit around it and loosen it, also make sure you are turning it the right way to get it off.Does any one no the oil filter on my car is really tight and it dosent want to come off what else can i do?
you can get an oil filter wrench from the auto parts store if you aren't already using one. then it's just a matter of effort to get it off. when you replace it, make sure you don't cross thread it, and wipe some oil on the rubber seal before you install it. that will help to keep it from seizing on. and don't over tighten.Does any one no the oil filter on my car is really tight and it dosent want to come off what else can i do?
If worse comes to worse you can take a large screwdriver, using a hammer %26amp; punch it through the old oil filter. Leave the screwdriver as a lever turn the oil filter to loosen. Be sure to put some oil on the gasket of your new filter.
It should come off with no problem with a pair of filter pliers. You can buy them at any local auto supply store.

Channellocks sometimes do the trick if theres not enough room for filter wrenches or a screwdriver/hammer.
