What are the top 3 Oil filters for consumer vehicles in your opinion or from what you have read?

For Example I have heard Wix, Mobil 1, K%26amp;n in no order are excellent. What are the top 3 Oil filters for consumer vehicles in your opinion or from what you have read?
AC Delco Ultraguard Gold Plus is number 1, Mobil 1 is number 2 and Purolater 1 is number 3. You need to look at efficiency and micron rating of the filter.

For example:

AC filter is a 7 micron filter.

K%26amp;N is 10 - 20 micron filter. What are the top 3 Oil filters for consumer vehicles in your opinion or from what you have read?
Wix, Fram or OE equipment ---for general use, no real difference but price.
Wix is best, they make filters for NAPA, CarQuest, and Their own box........look at the small print on the box and get Wix.
I have always used Fram or original equipment filters. They all do the job and have to meet the same minimum specifications.
I use Fram, never had any problems.
Honestly, it really doesn't matter. You're going to change it every 3k miles anyway, right? The best way to make absoloutly sure that the filter has any catch valves and is designed just right for your car is to get one from the dealership. But the large majority are generic anyway.
