oil still leaking fron around filterOk,,checked mounting surface of oil filter,,,didn't see anything out of the ordinary,,,?
There should be a rubber o-ring that is part of the filter that seals between the filter and the metal surface of the engine. Check that it is there and make sure the old one didn't get stuck the the engine, otherwise, make sure you have the correct filter.....or get a new one regardless.Ok,,checked mounting surface of oil filter,,,didn't see anything out of the ordinary,,,?
if you check eng and filter and it still leaks--toss it. recheck application and get another.
