FYI - Triumph doesn't make their filters either, they buy them and put their name on the box.

According to the chart, the filter is a type 5, STP SMO 17. There is also a cross reference to some better automotive filter replacements.
WHY on Earth do you want an STP oil filter. STP doesn't ';make'; oil filters - they just buy some other stuff and put their name on it. Best thing to do is buy the Triumph factory filter. They know what works on their engine!
