The sensor is your oil pressure sending unit, and could easily be where the leak is coming from, however, without seeing the engine it does make diagnosis vague.I need help,,i have a 99 Bonneville,,i have a oil leak that appears to be just above the oil filter,,?
The oil pressure sending unit is right in this area. From past experience I know these like to develop leaks. Clean the area with solvent, dry it off, start the engine and watch to see if it leaks. Not very expensive, but tricky to get to.
