Does anyone know the correct Fram oil filter to use on a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT motorcycle, California model. All the charts I look in at local parts houses do not include the newer model bikes. ThanksMotorcycle oil filter?

The Kawasaki filter number for this motor is 16097-0004
For about the same price, or a little less, you can get a Wix filter. This filter is far superior to the Kawasaki Filter. Wix claims to trap 94% more dirt. The Wix filter for this bike is 51358.
If you really have to have a Fram, the filter number is PH6017A.
Spend the extra $3 and buy an O.E.M. Kawasaki oil filter.
Some Kawasakis of that era had an oil filter boss recall and required a paper replaceable filter inside of their updated spin on cover.
Don't try to save a few $ buying inferior aftermarket products.
How do you know, if they know about any recalls, or updates.
