What do you consider to be the best oil filters available for an automobile?

I use mostly either FRAM or OEM filters.

AC-Delco for GM, Motorcraft for Fords etc..

Only problem I've ever had was when the pressure relief valve stuck on my Oil pump. What do you consider to be the best oil filters available for an automobile?
This is the greatest piece of work I ever saw on that subject. Fun reading.

I use motorcraft FL1A's on everything that they'll fit. That's just based on this study. They'll fit a lot of Ford and Chrysler products. What do you consider to be the best oil filters available for an automobile?
the popular ones are fine, the ticket is to change them regularly.
I prefer WIX. Wallmart uses Fram and this last year I replaced 3 motors in cars wallmart did the oil changes on, the fram oil filter leterally fell apart on the inside and would clog the pump
something from a high quality manufacturer with high quality and preferably synthetic fibers, and preferably more surface area than OEM.

i like Mobil 1 or Purolator Pure One.

Napa Gold (WIX), AMSOil, Bosch, are other good choices.
German oil filters, Mann, or Mahle. Mobil one synthetic filters were tested out well, too. For Japanese cars, I like the genuine OEM filters.
Wix for the money. fram are the worst you can get. Purolater are good also. O'reilys sells wix.

I once read a article where this engineer did a little study on the major filters it was really interesting he tore them all down and compared filter media, content. bypass valves ect, it was interesting.
Hi there, I personally use manufacturers genuine filters on my own vehicles and replace every 5000km, but our workshop uses only ryco filters (in australia)
FRAM
I like fram as I have never had a problem with them and have been using them for 40 yrs., I know a lot of people will say they are junk but I'm going on my experience over the years of racing cars and plain driving.
CarQuest
K%26amp;N makes great filters and they have a bolt on the bottom so it's easier to change em.
um.....i think it is............................i dunno

sorry
wix

i think napa sells wix im not sure but hey i like them
I buy all my parts through here.
