Where is the oil filter located on a 2005 chevy cobalt.?

It most likely has the 2.2liter ecotec engine which has the filter located on the top of the engine right next to the intake manifold infront of the transmission. U do need a special tool to get it out or u can use a 1 1/4'; shallow socket to remove the cover.Where is the oil filter located on a 2005 chevy cobalt.?
Near the oil pan, under the exhoust manifold(headers), or it could be a cartrige which is located at the side of the engine in a cylinder shaped black tube.
