How much engine oil do i put in my peugeot 206 1.4 after an oil and filter change?

What on Earth do you think the dipstick is for?

Put in about 1/3rd of a 5litre container and check the dipstick.

Add about half a litre and check the dipstick.

If still too low add a little more oil - its about half a litre between max and min - check the dipstick.

When oil up to full mark on dipstick - replace filler cap and start engine, allow to run for a minute or so.

Stop engine, and guess what - check the oil level on the dipstick.

Top up as required without going over the max mark on the dipstick.

Remember to use your dipstick often - then you won't be one.

It's not rocket science. How much engine oil do i put in my peugeot 206 1.4 after an oil and filter change?
The handbook/maintenance guide should say. Otherwise start checking the level after about 3.5 litres. It probably takes about 4 litres. How much engine oil do i put in my peugeot 206 1.4 after an oil and filter change?
