Where is the oil filter on my 2006 Fiesta 1.6 TDCi?
I cant seem to find it anywhere! I have a new replacement filter ready to install..Where is the oil filter on my 2006 Fiesta 1.6 TDCi?
I think this has a paper element type filter.
It is at the radiator side of the engine,to the right.
It`s black plastic and you remove with a socket on the hexagon which is moulded in the plastic.
Unscew,remove the old filter and replace with the new.Where is the oil filter on my 2006 Fiesta 1.6 TDCi?
behind the timing belt and under the water pump
If you can't even find the filter I doubt you are competent to change it. get an expert to do it
The oil filter is under the air intake pipe
its a paper filter In side a plastic housing
next to the battery
on the side of the engine
If there is not a cartridge type filter sticking out of the engine block somewhere then it is the internal type where just a filter element rather than a canister is replaced. It will most likely be behind a round ';lid'; which will have a hexagon head as part of it for you to get a socket on
